Just when we started to think Ubisoft wasn't showing off much Ghost Recon: Wildlands as we approach its March release date, they release 2 videos in the space of of a week. This time, though, we're actually seeing gameplay.
It's only a quick 1-minute snipped of what seems to be an extraction mission, but it's enough to whet an appetite for the upcoming open-world co-op shooter. Just don't go in expecting a single perspective for that minute. We're likely missing the finer details here.
The mission starts with a player identifying a satisfactory landing spot as they skydive into enemy terriroty. While one lands on a roof and crashes through onto the unsuspecting target, it seems as if any other players involved lead the excecution squad - eliminating the bandits perched outside whichever hut was housing our VIP.

One player picks them off from afar, while another goes in hot. Cleaning up any left in their way, the one tasked with smuggling the target out of the encampment likely still has to stay on his toes. There's another player raining hell from above in the chopper, but there's always one brute smart enough to get out of the way and still cause a problem. Sidearms are your friends!
Of course, we shouldn't go in expecting a full mission to be only a minute long. While Ghost Recon: Wildlands does offer that kind of 'drop-in' mission gameplay across its open world, nothing ever goes that smoothly. There's plenty of cuts in the footage, too; so don't be too worried. The full game launches March 7.
