Being pushed out by Kalypso Media 'Early 2017', there's some fresh gameplay of the Action-RPG up on their official YouTube channel. It's own Steam Store page already lists it for pre-order.
If you felt as if your Diablo III was as powerful as a god with no real history behind its strength other than an piece of cloth wrapped around the chest with a couple of gems poking out, Vikings: Wolves of Midgard could offer that slight solace. Though hardly like Thor, a Viking is presumably strong from the get-go! So lets just roll with that and bash some trolls.
Have yet to dive into the past of Tristram? You only have until the end of the month.
Fight against the deadly Jotan and their legion of undead beasts as you take on the coming of Ragnarok in the only way a Viking would know how. Bring steel to the bone by slamming down hard on the skulls of your enemies with two-handed hammers, dual-wielded axes, bows and or a classic sword & board approach. If you're more into demonstrating the certainly not false idea of the Vikings possessing powerful magicks, you can break out the spells to cast down those attempting to prematurely end your crusade against the Fimbulwinter.
Coming somewhere in the Early 2017 schedule, Vikings - Wolves of Midgard will be available on both Mac, PC and the rarely mentioned SteamOS platforms.
