How often do you see a major game developer publishing its latest changelog through a Reddit post? DICE are doing just that to show off the mammoth amount of changes coming to Battlefield 1 once they're done having a go-around in the CTE.
Likely hoping for a bit of that Reddit comment humor, they're likely to get just that. Though most wouldn't comb through the intricate changes; one commenter wasted no time making a quick little jab.
User Insert_Whiskey quickly latched onto the already fairly comical note of 'Improved Cavalry victim experience' by asking the real question: "If that doesn't get you hyped, then I don't know what will". Apparently they won't be beating you senseless with a saber from multiple meters away any longer. If you're really wanted to read through the extensive notes, be warned that the longest segment is purely for UI tweaks and fixes; but there's some interesting gun alterations, too.
New Details Emerge For Battlefield 1's 'They Shall Not Pass' Expansion Set
In that category, we're looking at the 12g Automatic Shotgun - and the Model 10-A Slug - getting some very particular changes like reduced aim dispersion and an increased pellet cone whereas multiple guns will have their recoil specifics changed. Sitting at the top of the list, however, is the new addition of Ribbons from past Battlefield games continuing to encourage productive play across the varied gamemodes. 'Elite Codices' will be awarded for each primary weapon to reach more than 500 kills with the patch notes losing their grasp once the the increased Max Class Rank of 50 moves aside for server changes.
Again, the patch notes are incredibly long and won't even apply to the player experiences of most for a little while longer yet. But if you're eager to know what's going to happen, you might as well give them a quick glance.
