Received a code for the For Honor closed beta but not quite sure what to expect? Ubisoft has revealed the details.
Once the For Honor closed beta test kicks off on January 26, those who were lucky enough to grab a beta key will have 4 days to experience a generous chunk of what the final game will offer.
New maps, heroes and gameplay modes will be available against those who managed to squeeze into earlier testing phases. With the Knights, Vikings and Samurai all up for play during next weekend's trial run, you'll have three very different fighting styles and disciplines ready to go. Fighting against each other in mortal combat across three of the five multiplayer game modes available at launch, the factions will go head-to-head in Dominion 4v4, Brawl 2v2 or the more personal Duel 1v1 across six gorgeous landscapes.
It Looks Like The 'For Honor' Season Pass Works Like Its Rainbow Six: Siege Counterpart
Did all that get you a little misty eyed? Well, if you didn't manage to secure a beta key through simple e-mail sign-up, there's still a way. Taking part in the newly arranged 'SCARS' experience could earn you exactly what you're after! Head on over to Ubisoft's SCARS site to witness 12 unique videos based around the stories told by the scars on the weapons of our heroes. Pick a weapon, customise its elements and earn a beta key for not a lot of work.
If you're already sold on the idea, you can drop in a pre-order over on Steam. For the rest, there isn't log to go until the beta kicks off. Just be prepared for the potential of a large download.
