Immediately following the long-awaited release of the Tek Tier update to ARK: Survival Evolved, Studio Wildcard has released tentative patch notes of next month's v255 update.
Coming along just shy of a month after the delayed release of update v254, next month's patch will act as a continuation to the Tek Tier offerings of the last.
Underwater bases currently highlight the upcoming release, though those who take customisation seriously might find the 4 new head and facial hairstyles to be of greater importance. Those who eagerly awaited the Tek Tier update, however, will likely want to look out for the Power Generator, Shield Generator and Tileset/Tek Doors joining the Underwater base addition.

Of course, the update will bring another 4 additional dinos to tame; namely the Electrophorus, Micoraptor, Ammonite and Thylacolea. And in the usual fashion, the developers have shed light on what's to come in future updates. Dynamic-Length bridges make the top cut, while they touch on the continuation of the Tek content with Tek Caves, 'Ascension' progression and 'Boss Wars'. DirectX 12 support is planned to offer a 20% boost in performance for those running Windows 10, but this all off in the future for now.
