No matter which class you choose, when exploring the Sanctuary or fighting bosses in higher world tiers in Diablo 4, equipping yourself with the best armor sets is crucial. For rogue players, the Eyes in the Dark Armor is one you should pick up, considering that its modifiers can come in handy in a lot of situations.
Not only does equipping this item will increase your dodge chance, shadow damage, damage to trapped and elite enemies, but it will also allow you to cast multiple Death Trap until they perish. So, how exactly does it work? Here is everything you need to know about the Eyes in the Dark armor and modifiers for the rogue class.
Diablo 4's Eyes in the Dark Armor and Its Modifiers
Diablo 4’s Eyes in the Dark is a Unique leg armor or pants that can be equipped exclusively by the rogue class. You can only obtain this item by slaying enemies, opening chests, and looting bosses upon reaching World Tier 3 or 4. Don’t forget that since the game has a randomized loot system, you’ll need to grind your way to get this item, similar to how you would get The Grandfather.
The modifier of this item reads, “Unless it hits a Boss or Player, Death Trap will continue to re-arm itself until it kills an enemy. However, Death Trap’s Cooldown is increased by [20 - 15%].”
In the game, Death Trap is an ultimate skill from the rogue class that allows you to cast a trap on the ground. When enemies approach or come in contact with said trap, they will instantly be surrounded by your character’s clones that deal AoE damage by attacking them from multiple angles, dealing progressive Shadow damage to any afflicted enemies.
Eyes in the Dark Affixes
Other than being able to cast Death Trap skill, this item also has the following affixes:
- Dodge Chance
- Shadow Damage
- Damage to Elites
- Damage to Trapped Enemies
Thanks to these, clearing a swarm of enemies your way should be easy. That sums up all you need to know about the Eyes in the Dark armor and its affixes in Diablo 4. If you are a Rogue player, make sure to give this armor a try.
