Fallout 76 is now here, and you'll have to do a lot of crafting if you want to get by. One item you'll need a lot of is the Fallout 76 wood, but where is it and how do you find wood easily? We've got the answers, with the bare minimum of "get wood" jokes.
Whether building or cooking, wood is something you'll always need a lot of for crafting. So how do you get wood in Fallout 76? We'll show you, if you stop sniggering.
Fallout 76 Wood - How to Get Wood in Fallout 76
You can find wood in Fallout 76 by scavenging certain things around the world - specifically, wood piles and fallen trees/logs. Simply go up to these things and you'll get a prompt to use it, and you'll get wood from it. You can buy some wood at one of the various vendors, but that'll be expensive - you're best bet is just have to keep an eye out for wood piles or fallen trees when you're exploring the wasteland, you'll have a nice stack in no time.
There are a few logging camps around the world where you can find a great deal of fallen logs to scavenge for wood. You can also equip the "Woodchucker" Perk to get twice as much wood when gathering. Oh, and in case you're wondering - no, you can't just cut down trees and gather it that way. This isn't Minecraft. You can't punch the trees either.
The alternate way to get wood is to try wearing tighter pants or just getting up in the morning after a good night's sleep. Watching women's volleyball can also help. (Apologies, Bethesda)
