In Baldur’s Gate 3, there is a mysterious hole in the Goblin Camp that players can explore. Specifically, this refers to the Worg Pens Goblin Camp in Shattered Sanctum, the one where you need to rescue a druid named Halsin.
When you get closer to the hole, your character will notice decaying legs protruding from the inside of it. Here’s how you can get it out of the way so that you can get through the mysterious hole in BG3 Goblin Camp.
Mysterious Hole in Baldur's Gate 3 Goblin Camp Walkthrough
To get through the mysterious hole, you’ll need your character to pass a check. Depending on your character’s stats, you may be given different options, but generally, there should be two: pull the body free and leave.
Choose the pull the body free option to remove the body from the hole. Once you’ve done this, there will be a short cutscene where your character drags the body out of the way. After that, you can get through the hole, which will lead you outside of the Worg Pens.
If your character is highly proficient in investigation, you’ll have one more option: to examine the body. Spoilers alert, it turns out the body belongs to an Elf attempting to escape but fails due to the tunnel collapsing.
Technically, there’s no secret chest or anything when you unlock this path. However, this is the perfect route if you’re looking to rescue Halsin without having to engage in combat with the nearby Goblins.
Not having to fight the Goblins will also save you loads of time and effort. They wouldn’t get to you if you made it to the hole in time. Instead, Halsin would do all the work by defeating them in Worg Pens.
