Sons of the Forest counts among the most anticipated survival games of the year, and, although, avoiding death with the tools it gives you is a major part of its appeal, there are times when console commands and cheats can provide invaluable help or simply make subsequent playthroughs more fun.
Sons of the Forest’s console commands and cheats list hasn’t been yet revealed, which is no surprise, given how the title is set to enter early access on February 23. It’s hard to dig through files and tinker with activating the in-game console when the actual game isn’t available.

Developer Endnight Games hasn’t delved into the topic of Sons of the Forest cheats prior to launch, although a fair few players expect to see some when the sequel becomes playable.
Its predecessor, The Forest, features quite a few.
They range from the traditional godmode that grants you invulnerability, to the ability to disable the game’s survival elements or birds.
Others make it easier to cut down trees, reveal the entire map, or easily get your hands on items you’d otherwise have trouble acquiring.
Given how Sons of the Forest’s gameplay loop looks heavily based on its predecessor’s, it’s easy to see why players expect similar console commands to become available.
Of course, there’s always the possibility that we’ll have to play through the game without such aid, but this is something that will only get clarified after release.
