Navigating your way through the environmental challenges in Surviving the Aftermath can be a bit overwhelming when you’re constantly juggling between building outposts and making sure there’s enough food on the table. To make things worse, resources dwindle and your colonists can get sick and die.
Fortunately, with a little bit of tweaking, you can use Surviving the Aftermath console commands and cheats to help you out. These are also useful if you’re looking into building whatever your heart pleases without having to worry about managing your overall community or running out of resources.
Surviving the Aftermath Console Commands and Cheats
Surviving the Aftermath doesn’t exactly have any console commands. Rather, the game lets you run mods, which you can access in-game by pressing the F10 key. So, instead of manually inputting cheats into a window, you can toggle, edit, and even spawn pretty much anything with unlimited value in the game from the mod window.
Before you can get this to work, you’ll need to download the mod first. Once downloaded, extract the file and move it to %username%\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Surviving the Aftermath\Mods. After that, simply start your game and select the mod via the main menu.
If done correctly, you should be able to view the cheat window when pressing F10 when you start a new game. These are just some of the Surviving the Aftermath cheats that we find interesting and helpful.
- Force event
- Force quest
- Increase money
- Change colony type
- Upgrade selected building
- Unlock all hidden techs
- Unlock resources
- Nightshift
- Data replace
- Combat
- Spawn combat group
- Spawn hostiles
- Spawn wildlife
The list goes on. Just one thing to keep in mind: you’ll need to select or tick the mod from the main menu every time you load into the game for these cheats to be available. Otherwise, they won’t show up when you press F10.
