If you’ve been playing <a https://www.gamewatcher.com/games/wartales”>Wartales</a>, chances are you’ve come across Antiquities or Antiquity items during your journey. Unlike <a https://www.gamewatcher.com/guides/what-can-you-do-with-the-ghost-carcass-in-wartales”>regular loot</a>, these items cannot be equipped, hence why it’s no surprise that a lot of players are confused about what to do with them. Rather than having Antiquities piling up in your storage, ensure you know everything about Wartales Antiquity items and how you can use them to your advantage.
What Are Antiquity Items in Wartales?
Antiquities are items found in dungeons or tombs throughout the game. They are different from other items as they can’t be equipped or used for any sort of action in the game. Instead, they are researchable items that will yield a valuable reward.
They also come in different colors or rarity, blue and yellow being the most common, and purple being the rarest. Unfortunately, there’s not much you can do with the blue and yellow ones other than sell them. But, if you’re lucky enough to find a purple one, you can get a new weapon upon researching it.
To research an antiquity item, you’ll need to unlock the Lectern in your camp. If you already have a Lectern, you can assign the Scholar in your group to do the research at the Lectern. The amount of money you make by researching an antiquity item depends on the item itself and its rarity.
Generally, these items are valued between 30 to 50 Krowns. Currently, they have no actual use in the game, so you can either collect them for fun or just sell them.
Researching antiquity items is a great way to make easy money in Wartales. With enough time and effort, you can make a steady amount of money by collecting and researching these items. So, don’t forget to try and loot antiquity items in dungeons and tombs as you explore the game.
