Brutal Battles revamps the formation positions of all units, meaning those units which logically or lore-wise would be spaced closer or further now adhere to this. Pike-men do not leave gaps in between their blockade, shield-wielding units can form functional phalanxes and zombies can swarm enemies. This also makes AOE effects, especially magic, more destructive.
