3D realms announced this afternoon that Duke Nukem Forever, the highly anticipated title that has been equally awaited since the dawn of time, will be released (fingers crossed) in Q4 2008 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
“we may miss the mark by a month or two, but I feel very confident that we’re on target this time.” said Scott Miller.
Miller also confirmed that the rumored Xbox Arcade version of Duke Nukem 3D will be released this year and will feature on-line multiplayer support, Xbox Live achievements, an on-line score board and a co-op mode.
“We’re really excited about bringing classic Duke to the 360,” said miller. “We’re talking to Microsoft about getting a release slot sometime this year.”
Lets hope they stick to this release date then.
UPDATE: 3D Realms have confirmed that this release date isn’t correct, Duke Nukem Forever is still in for a when it’s done date.
