No word on a European release schedule, the box will include SimCity 4, SimCity 4: Rush Hour, SimCity Societies, SimCity Societies: Destinations and The Sims Carnival SnapCity.
SimCity Societies was largely met with hostility from the SimCity community; it met with rather poor reviews from the press.
SimCity 4 and its Rush Hour expansion, while knocking on in the years now, is in fact still a highly regarded game from Maxis. The community still actively pump new content and modifications into it.
SimCity Societies does away with the traditional roots of the series and focus on societal values and not the simulation of a ‘realistic’ cities growth from a backwater town to a sprawling metropolis.
SimCity Societies: Destinations will be debuting with EA’s box bundle, it adds tourist attractions like theme parks and beach resorts etc to the game. The Sims Carnival SnapCity is more like a puzzler than a strategy or simulation, falling blocks determine the cities pedigree - think Tetris and you’re sorta there.
