In another chilling blow to authority, which we know to be good for us, Fable 2 shots and details have escaped their captors and defected to Internet freedom fighters.
According to a NeoGAF the new Fable is 20-30 times larger; the mini-map is sleeping with the fishes and only 8 different spells made the cut.
Okay so the embargo was lifted, there wasn’t exactly a heated escape with these juicy morsels but what do you care? You get to read them now all the same…
The NeoGAF post goes on to mention that every single house is open to purchase and can be lived in by your family, and each home can unlock a quest, skill or item. The weather is entirely dynamic and shifts with the time of day, complete with different seasons.
Cut scenes are interactive, albeit slightly, by using the D-pad to issue gestures which can have an effect on the outcome of the conversation, i.e. flipping ‘the finger’.
Three more Fable games are planned and the female character almost got cut but girly developers staged a coup and overthrew the decision of their male oppressors - or whatever. In any case the game looks beautiful and they’ve still got time to refine our new Fable experience in a brave new Albion.
