For the fiscal 2008 year, Electronic Arts has achieved 15 titles that have each sold over 2 million units.
The report shows a $454 million loss which CEO Riccitiello says it’s linked to ”to an aggressive change agenda at EA,” that they committed themselves to over the last year.
”Our employees stepped up to the challenge and we finished fiscal year 2008 with non-GAAP revenue up 30 per cent to USD 4 billion - a record for any third-party publisher,” said Riccitiello.
They have a 20% market share in Europe and 19% in North America; they were undoubtedly the leading publisher for 2008 across every platform. EA also claim to be the number one third-party on Nintendo’s Wii with a 15% share in Europe and 11% in North America.
