An updated fact sheet on Ensemble Studios real-time strategy for the Xbox360 shows gamers will get their marching orders sometime before summer next year.
The game has been worked from the ground up for the console and the campaign will let fans bark your commands to familiar faces and units from the Halo universe.
It came as a bit of a surprise that during Microsoft’s pre-E3 conference there wasn’t a noticeable presence of Halo Wars, though we’re still expecting something at E3 itself.
Halo Wars is based before the events of Halo 1 and takes place upon a lovely planet called Harvest. The UNSC warship, the Spirit of Fire, gets the unwanted attention of the Covenant after the discovery of an ancient artefact.
Six players will be able to battle it out online with Halo Wars with the option to choose between UNSC or Covenant forces. Halo Wars is an Xbox360 exclusive.
