Valve announced at E3 that their upcoming zombie survivor game Left 4 Dead will feature two player split screen action, as well as four player co-operative online.
Also the characters have had a run in with the art department as they get redesigned. So there are no battle-hardened vets with the gear to match, just poor s.o.b.s. - with guns.
It’s unclear if the split screen mode applies to the PC version of the game but they were mostly likely just gabbing about the game on console. The undead are also playable but no details were slipped just yet.
The redesign of the characters was also undertaken to better induce the perils of survival - so dreadlocks out, blood-stained shirt in.
Left 4 Dead is being released on PC and Xbox360 this November.
