Nevrax went busto back in 2006 and while GameForge helped keep the science fantasy MMO alive it just couldn’t hold on - its last server shut this February.
Fans now though have been informed the game is soon to return with character revivals and free VIP access for previous Ryzom subscribers. ‘Free’ - great word that.
”We are all very pleased to share with you our joy that the hardest part is behind us,” said the unexpected newsletter to fans. ”Our servers have already been revived in a testing phase for several weeks now.”
Saga of Ryzom wasn’t your average MMO as for one it allowed users to create their own content for the game. The Ryzom forums came back alive in June though it still remains unclear who has thrown money at the project to get it moving again.
