British politician Boris Johnson has now jumped on the ‘game-hating’ bandwagon.
The newly elected Mayor of London has claimed that violent games are partly to blame for the levels of knife crime in the country.
Writing in the london paper, he commented that: “We must show young people that knives are not cool, and for that we need positive role models,”
“I want to counteract the damaging influences drug-addled celebrities and violent video games and the lure of the life in the gang by providing opportunities.”
