Lionhead Studios have patched their XBLA Fable 2 Pub Games, which lets gamers transfer their winnings over to the full retail game when it releases.
The exploit would allow Fable gamblers to dupe a game into thinking you’ve bet high when you’re only risking some loose change. Finally the ‘house’ is the only cheater again.
”If you are wondering about a ‘much talked about’ exploit, just ignore it (and know that a patch is on the way),” said a dev blog posting. Now the Lionhead has roared and the bug/exploit/cheat/capitalist-opportunity has been neutered.
With the vast array of properties and items most likely on offer in the new Albion many have sought to increase their gold reserves early with the Fable 2 Pub Games.
