Videogaming247.com is reporting that the CEO of Quantic Dreams, David Cage, has confirmed that the footage shown at E3 08 and at the Leipzig Games Convention of the upcoming PlayStation 3 thriller Heavy Rain will be included as a bonus scene. Speaking of the trailer Cage said,
“It’s really a bonus scene. It’s not part of the main plot.”
In the trailer a female reporter is shown breaking into a house as part of her investigation into recent disappearances. The reporter discovers a number of stuffed bodies in an upper room and then being chased by the murderer. Heavy Rain is expected to be released sometime in 2009 although no official date has been announced.
