The shooter-RPG Deus Ex, believed to be one of the most influential games of all time, is being made freely available to download through GameTap’s service.
Gamers can get their hands it on once they install GameTap’s free-to-download launcher, for those without “Gold” membership a 15 second video advert plays before each play.
The game Deus Ex was originally released on PC and PS2 in 2000 and was hailed for its blending of the shooter and RPG genre, and for its branching storylines and NPC interactions.
Another was released in 2003 entitled Deus Ex: Invisible War which encompassed the same enticing traits of the original and now Deus Ex 3 is in the works.
