The skateboarding Tony Hawk revealed he’d be at the Microsoft E3 conference to showcase some Tony Hawk Ride, but his Twitter post has since disappeared.
Naturally there’s a full blown conspiracy here, we just haven’t got the necessary quotes from random strangers off the street yet to compile a theory. Microsoft clamping down on leaks?
Yeah, we’ll go with that. Microsoft likely asked the Hawk to keep his Twittering gob quiet so not to ruin any surprises coming our way today.
”Just practiced my part for Microsoft’s E3 keynote tomorrow (introducing #thride),” Twittered Tony Hawk, reports Joystiq. ”First time I’ve ever had to wear make-up for a rehearsal.”
Whether he’ll be using the peripheral or just paraded on stage for a quick quote cameo is anyone’s guess right now. The Microsoft E3 event starts at 10:25 am PST.
