Jordan Mechner, creator of Prince of Persia, has trademarked ‘The Forgotten Sands’ as the next entry in the series. Marc-Antoine Senecal is working the character models.
At least that’s what the Ubi art man’s online CV says, he’s ”working on the new” game and has been since ”August 2009” to the present. Trademarks and online CVs strike again!
Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands has been trademarked, failing to escape the watchful eye of superannuation. While that’s certainly enough to get the gamer community muttering about this new title, it’s always great to get a source of corroboration.
Enter the online LinkedIn profile of Marc-Antoine Senecal, which states he’s busy ”working on the new Prince of Persia.” He started on it in August of this year and is still attached. This character modeller CV also didn’t escape the notice of superannuation.
In May of next year we’ll be treated to a mostly shirtless and buffed up Jake Gyllenhaal as our Prince of Persia in The Sands of Time movie. Will you be fawning over Prince Gyllenhaal?
