Noting that players ”will be pleased” with the announcement and what they’ve got to show this August at GamesCom, developer Funcom can’t wait.
Funcom’s Erling Elllingsen has said a ”dedicated team” have been working on the expansion for quite a while now, it will ”build upon the strengths” of the barbarian MMO.
Age of Conan has recently been overhauled with its RPG mechanics given a serious boot up the rear, much to player delight. It corrected numerous issues with gear items and much more.
”We are bringing a lot of that into the expansion as well,” Elllingsen told Eurogamer, ”making sure we build upon the strengths of the game and stay true to the original vision we have always had for Age of Conan.”
”I think players will be pleased!” he added. GamesCom is held in Germany and is to be become a prominent venue for consumers. It begins August 19th and runs until the 23rd in Cologne.
