Battle Tanks from Gameloft is basically a top-down shooter, but in WWII tanks. Its graphical style has helped it become a ”main party attraction”, especially at the Gameloft office.
The British developers have poured their hearts out, telling fans over on the PlayStation.Blog exactly how Battle Tanks came to look the way it did. It’s on PSN right now.
”As soon as an early version of Battle Tanks was installed on our PS3 test kit, it quickly became the most popular attraction in the Gameloft Studio. Everyone who passed by was drawn to the game’s colorful graphics and intuitive gameplay,” posted Gameloft’s Philippe Laurens on the EU PlayStation.Blog.
Battle Tanks has you blast opponents to bits, either AI bots or online players in Death Match and Capture the Flag modes. There’s also a co-op mode for the campaign, so you can blast along with a friend through 50 ”maze and paint ball-like levels.”
It’s available on the EU PlayStation Store right now for £7.99/€9.99. Why not find out what Battle Tanks’ alien invasion would have looked like?
