Team Bungie love math so much they can’t help but scare us with it, and now they reveal gamers have killed over 17.5m Covenant a day since release.
That’s roughly about 650 kills per player say Bungie, with around 12,000 of the alien blighters off’d every minute. This mega awesome kill count is from Halo 3’s campaign stat ticker.
”This weekend, the ticker tracking the total number of Covenant kills you’ve racked up to date hit the ten billion mark. That’s a one with ten zeros in tow,” blogged Bungie.
”The Earth’s current population, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, has reached 6.7 Billion. If current trending models remain accurate, it’s projected that our population will reach ten billion sometime in the next fifty years.”
Over 10 billion invading aliens butchered by our brave boys? Now that’s a massacre we can all get behind. I wonder what the stats are for ‘dealing’ with the flood from Halo 1?
