It’s all Apogee’s fault say publisher Take-Two, they’re the ones who’ve screwed us all by ”continually” throwing up delays for Duke Nukem Forever.
$12 million out of pocket, Take-Two is taking Apogee to court after they’ve be proven fat liars for claiming to be ”diligently working” on completing the games PC development. GO T2!
The reason Take-Two is down 12 really big ones? Well that’s how much they forked over for the publishing rights to the Duke’s return.
”Apogee continually delayed the completion date for the Duke Nukem Forever,” Take-Two said in their complaint.
”Apogee repeatedly assured Take-Two and the video-gaming community that it was diligently working toward competing development of the PC Version of the Duke Nukem Forever.” The agreement between the two was signed in 2000, with a second in 2007.
Many fans are likely to be with Take-Two’s anger on this one - Apogee killed the Duke, we will have vengence… in the form of financial restitution!
