The Massive Action Game that’s cooking over at Sony will be unleashing its 256-player online mayhem in late January next year, or at least will be in the United States.
The game breaks up the huge armies into squads of 8-players, which co-ordinate with the larger force. Promoted soldiers can take command of squads, or even the whole war effort.
MAG is exclusive to PlayStation 3. ”Battle lines are being drawn in the Shadow War and no mercy will be shown after January 26th, 2010,” posted SCEA’s Seth Luisi on the US PlayStation.Blog.
