Lode Runner has come to XBLA, it’s a remake of the retro arcade classic, and was initially priced at 800 MS Points - but that was very wrong.
The price has since been hiked to what it should have been, a full blown 1200 MS Points. Naturally such a sensitive issue, wallet gouging, is a always a flaming hot topic among gamers.
Already there were rumblings of discontent over the price, after all if you chuck in 400 MS Point more you could get The Lost and Damned premium DLC for GTA IV.
”It’s an all-new Lode Runner gold mine: 3D graphics, frenzied 2D action, lodes of modes, 220 levels, multiplayer options, puzzles, a level editor and more!” blurbs the XBLA page.
Can a retro remake be worth 1200 MS Points? Especially when Microsoft refuse to sell you precisely those many points online.
