The Japanese developer has revealed the lifetime sales numbers for three of their biggest names: Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest and Kingdom Hearts.
It should come as little surprise that Final Fantasy leads the pack, with over 85m copies sold around the world. Second place goes to Dragon Quest with 47m, while the new kid on the block…
Kingdom Hearts is the youngest by far and has enjoyed peddling 12m of its wares. This is all good news indeed and let’s hope Square Enix can rub some of that magic into Eidos when it’s purchase of the publisher is complete.
Perhaps we’ll have some cross-over cameos… who’s that bald guy with the red tie in the latest FF?!
