Yeah, it’s one of ‘those’ news pieces. Apparently Fable III has been outed by some writer at the New York Times, thanks to Lionhead designer Joshua Atkins’ wedding.
It lists Atkins as the ”lead game designer for Fable III,” though this could just be a silly typo. Peter Molyneux has already waved off talk of a third, though it’s most definitely in the cards.
”Mr. Atkins, 34, is the lead game designer for Fable III, a video game series produced by Lionhead Studios in Guildford, England,” reads the NY Times piece on the wedding.
Previously Jonathan Ross had twittered he was involved for voice-over work for a third game, but Molyneux pointed out it could be for any Fable project, like more DLC.
The Lionhead boss explained that less-than-sober developers ”had Jonathan Ross literally pinned up against a wall, going, ‘Go on, do a voiceover, do a voiceover, do a voiceover…’”
”He then assumed it was for Fable III, but it could have been a voiceover for any of the Fable things we’ve got planned,” he explained. Just a New York Times typo?
