Japan is a tough place for the Xbox 360 to outshine rivals but thanks to Monster Hunter Frontier Online, the Japanese charts have welcomed it.
Monster Hunter is big in Japan so the ported version of Frontier Online from the ‘07 PC release has proven real popular. It sold 93k last week.
The week ending June 27th it sold around 93k units in Japan. So far there is no word from Capcom about a western release for the Xbox 360 MMO. Monster Hunter Frontier Online comes with 12-months free Xbox Live Gold membership and 30-days free play.
After that it will cost about £10 each month to keep slaying those monsters. The Xbox 360 game beat Konami’s Love Plus + for Nintendo DS, Gust’s Totori: Alchemist of Arland 2 and Konami’s Tokimeki Memorial: Girl’s Side 3rd Story, reports Eurogamer.
Admit it - Japan has some of the best naming skills for videogames. Confess!
