New Silent Hill from Konami, is developing for "next-gen consoles"

Konami has signed up a new development studio to handle a brand new instalment to the long-running horror series of Silent Hill, for next-gens.

No other details about the project were spilled during an event in Frankfurt, Germany. Silent Hill: Homecoming was the last major addition.

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was released for Nintendo Wii but it’s in fact a retelling of the original Silent Hill game that released back in 1999. Do you count yourself among the Silent Hill fan community, videogamer? What needs to happen to the series?
