Developer Crystal Dynamics will release ‘Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light’ this summer as a downloadable title for both XBLA and PSN.
She’ll cost you $15 or 1200 MSP, and favours a Shadow Complex approach to raiding tombs. It lasts around 6 hours with co-op play.
It’s certainly a departure from the old Lara Croft adventures in Tomb Raider. Crystal and Eidos have noticed that people loved Epic’s Shadow Complex and so obviously decided to let Lady Croft have a turn at all that isometric view action.
Aside from launching on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network it will be defying the formula of the past on PC too. It’s out this summer and could surprise. Check out some of the release screens below - what do you think?
