Studio VP Mark Rein revealed the ‘no show’ for Epic at the GDC, saying there’s been ”pretty great games” out already like Mass Effect 2.
”We don’t have any games coming out in 2010,” stated Rein, reports G4TV, ”so from a games standpoint, it’s more about our customers’ games, right?” 2010 has been blessed with heavy hitters already with the rest of spring, summer, fall and winter yet!
”Already this year we’ve seen some pretty great games this year – Mass Effect 2, BioShock 2… and Arkham Asylum coming out in 3D, the GOTY version, so that’ll be kinda cool.”
For straw graspers - Rein could have just been talking about the Carolina studio not releasing anything, leaving their Utah and Poland offices free? Chair Entertainment in Utah was bought by Epic in 2008 and they gave us XBLA’s Shadow Complex.
Polish team People Can Fly trademarked something called Bulletstorm, which is to be their first ever Epic Games project. We might have to wait until 2011 for something Epic…
