It’s the first time players can choose which race to play in the singleplayer campaign, with the Orks revealed as a selection. It’s due out Q1 2011.
”We all love the Blood Ravens here at Relic Entertainment, but there are also a lot of fans of the other races and armies out there so we decided that Retribution should allow the player the freedom to experience the campaign from the perspective they select,” said Dawn of War II - Retribution producer, Jeff Lydell.
The Orks campaign is promised to answer questions raised by the previous Dawn of War titles, and the other races will likely do the same when they get revealed. Retribution adds new multiplayer maps, units and even a whole new playable faction.
