It missed its holiday ‘09 launch, as you might have guessed. Now it’s out later this year, with Microsoft saying their ”committed” to the project.
”We’re thrilled to have unveiled Joy Ride at E3 2009, which will deliver a revolutionary gaming experience to the Xbox 360 community and put your Avatar behind the wheel,” said the corporate giant, reports Joystiq.
”We’re committed to delivering the most robust experience to the community and are taking additional time to ensure we provide the best experience possible. We’re looking forward to launching Joy Ride in 2010. Stay tuned!”
Joy Ride is a free-to-play Xbox 360 exclusive with our avatars zooming around in flashy cars in colourful lands full of circuits to be dominated. It’s highly likely that Microsoft and developer BigPark will show off again this E3 with Joy Ride.
