Bungie's Halo 3 now sells through Games on Demand, totals 6GB

For those too darn lazy to walk, crawl or get a piggy back ride to their nearest retailer for a physical copy - not to worry. Xbox 360 will get it for you.

Halo 3 from team Bungie can now be bought and downloaded through Games on Demand, the Xbox Live digital game store. It costs 20 British coins.

You know the ones, they’re slightly gold looking and we Brits can em ‘a quid’. It’s £19.99 and is around 6GB in size for your broadband pipe to digest to the Xbox 360. This is the latest and possibly last Master Chief instalment in Halo, or it is from Bungie anyway.

Microsoft has set up a dedicated Halo studio called 343 Industries, with any true Halo fan noticing the reference straight away without the aid of wiki. Halo: Reach’s multiplayer beta kicks off soon, promising four modes to smack down newbs with. Excited?

Not all that money goes to the developer you know - most is to cover that fancy red carpet premiere, the models, celebrity thumbs up and of course… the after-party booze.
