4 new kits are available for each class based on special ops groups. They’re not for PS3 or PC yet but will be ”a little later on”. PC patch is out!
There’s an extra catch for North American gamers because they can’t buy the kit upgrade DLC directly but are ‘awarded’ codes from special promotional cans of Dr Pepper. European users must cough up 160 MS for each kit or 440 MS for the lot.
It’s hopeful that the PC and PS3 kits are being held off because Microsoft don’t allow freebies given through Xbox Live, and so that hopefully translates to free gear. Meanwhile in super important Bad Company 2 news, the latest and massive PC update is up.
This update adds a slew of balance changes to multiplayer as well as tackling the annoying server browser troubles that have plagued the DICE shooter. How about your server filter options being remembered, and your class loudouts between sessions?
YES!
DICE have blogged the balance changes for the weapons so we all know that M60 got some much needed nerfing. The major changes are on their way to Xbox 360 and PS3 but are held up of course by the certification process with Xbox Live and PSN.
