Here’s an odd one for you:
It seems despite Microsoft no longer supporting the original Xbox Live game servers, some die-hards Halo 2 fans are still playing.
For over 10 days now since the switch off on April 15th, a group of 20 or so have been playing the game by simply not turning off their Xbox’s.
Some have been dropping out due to things like net troubles or over-heating, and are unable to re-join, but there are still a few who remain.
Perhaps this reporter has simply misunderstood what ”ending support” actually means… but how can gamers still be connected to something that isn’t supposed to exist anymore?
Spooky.
