Call of Duty: Black Ops developer Treyarch admits the situation over at fellow Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward is far less than an ideal one.
Their exodus isn’t something they ”think about too much” over at Treyarch though, says Josh Olin; keeping ”heads down and staying focused.”
”The situation at Infinity Ward is unfortunate,” Olin told MCV, reports CVG. Publisher Activision fired Infinity Ward head’s Jason West and Vince Zampella in March, who has now formed Respawn Entertainment along with a lot of former IW developers.
”It’s just not something that we want to let distract us or that we really think about too much,” he continued. ”We’re still focused on our primary charge - to make the best possible game we can - so we’re keeping our heads down and staying focused.”
Call of Duty: Black Ops releases on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC November 9th.
