It seems Episode 1 of the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4 episodic title has been given a release date, at least for Xbox Live.
An Xbox spokesperson tweeted the news a few minutes ago:
”ZOMG! Sonic 4: Episode 1 dates for October 13th on Xbox LIVE. Bring it on Robotnik (sigh Eggman)!”
Sonic 4 goes ”back to basics” with its return to 2D, and many are hoping this will rejuvenate the franchise.
We’ll see if we can find out when the PSN version is due out.
