Well tough luck because Microsoft has announced that all ‘new game’ releases for the Game Room have been mega delayed for now.
”The latest batch of Game Room content has also been delayed until further notice - I’ll let you know once a new date is confirmed,” twittered Microsoft’s Daniel Maher, reports Kotaku. Major Nelson has revealed a similar fate to US XBL users.
”We’re working to bring you additional Game Room titles as soon as possible! We appreciate your patience, and we’ve been thrilled by the community response so far. We want to provide you with the best experience possible, so stay tuned!!” said Nelson.
Game Room is a virtual world filled with arcade cabinets of old as your Avatars browse and play the heck out of them, but it’s maybe in danger of emulating arcade centres a little too well if nothing new is breaking out soon. They need virtual foot traffic!
