Trendy Entertainment has announced that the Steam version of Dungeon Defenders has some new downloadable content available, which adds a few new classes, including the female Squire (the Countess), the female Apprentice (the Adept), the male Hunter (the Ranger) and the female Monk (the Initiate). While these may just seem like a reskinned gender-flip, each of the new classes have their own stats and abilities.
As an incentive to get the DLC, doing so will unlock the eight-player Uber Monster Fest, which ramps up the difficulty to what Trendy states is an “insane” level. With eight player co-op, the monsters have to get more tough.
Dungeons Defenders is both an action-RPG and a tower defense game featuring leveling, looting and high-action territorial combat. The game was released on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on the 18th October.
