One of the more intriguing games that was shown off at E3 2011 was Gameforge’s free-to-play, browser-based MMO Star Trek: Infinite Space. Unlike Star Trek Online, Infinite Space promises to give the full Star Trek experience, focusing as much on the diplomatic and social aspects of the series as much as the combat.
Gameforge has just announced that the MMO, which is currently in a closed beta, will be launched this Fall. We’ll go into more detail on the game in an upcoming preview, so keep your eyes out for it. In the meantime, check out the trailer and visit the official site here.
