NBA Jam: On Fire Edition promises to be the “most comprehensive version” released, complete with a new taunting system, online features, and the ability to change players when playing solo.
According to Joystiq, there are two different core taunts: a mocking gesture which is called a razzle-dazzle in which the player can harass their opponent, and the ability to poke someone; the poke isn’t as dramatic as the shove, but the effect is infuriating to the opponent - and hilarious to watch.
Other features include “team fire”, which is set off when three successive alley-oops are made in a row. The game will also feature an online tourney and an online co-op campaign.
EA Sports will release new information when it comes.
