Activision’s Prototype 2 has just got a fresh developer diary from Radical Entertainment where they discuss the ‘Hunt. Become. Kill.’ mechanic for new protagonist James Heller.
Hunting in Prototype 2 is ”one of the most empowering feelings in the game”, says studio boss Ken Rosman. It uses an ”organic version” of sonar to narrow down our search for prey.
We hunt down characters so James Heller can piece together what’s going on with Blackwatch and original protagonist Alex Mercer. Prototype 2 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2012.
