Activision is full steam ahead with their new Skylanders franchise, and now MMO Spyro’s Universe has started accepting sign-ups for its beta trial. It’s an MMO of Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure.
The game lets players bring physical toys into the virtual world and be customised, to play mini-games and generally frolic the land. A trailer for Spyro’s Universe has gone live.
This is no Spyro that fans may remember when the little dragon scamp was strutting around, platform jumping and collecting gems on PlayStation. This is a new breed with merchandise.
